Love Bug

I’ve enjoyed making this little cape for my daughter! Its really simple. Just first make the basic cape pattern from here in Ravelry. I chose to make mine in Ricorumi shade 013 Raspberry.

Then make 6 of the smallest size of the teeny hearts in Ricorumi 011 Pink (pattern is here)

But if you don’t like too many page tabs, here’s the pattern for it:

Smallest teeny heart :

1. Make magic circle,

2. Ch 1 to secure magic circle

3. Into magic circle, ch 1, 2dc, 1 sl st, ch2, 1 sl st, 2dc, slip stitch.

4. Pull magic circle close tightly. Cut yarn leaving a 3-4 inch tail. Weave/sew in ends

Sew the hearts onto the cape as shown in the photos below. Then surface crochet 6/7 dc vertically up the middle of the cape also in 011 Pink.

Sew in ends and you’ve got yourself a little love-big cape.
